Twitter Tuesday Week 3

This week I followed a few bird photographers “with a purpose” like Daniel Riddle as well as ornithologists like Ross Ahmed. I followed multiple organizations that prioritize raising awareness and advocate for the welfare of birds. These organizations include World Parrot Trust, Bird Awareness Essex Coast, and NYC Plover Project. Through these pages I learned that many birds migrate to the Essex coast and foxes are hunted as a form of insurance. From this ChatGPT experience I learned that it's a good resource to spark ideas and provide facts but it's very brief and doesn’t provide much detail. Through ChatGPT I learned that some hummingbirds can fly backwards and even make turns that a lot of other birds can’t do. From my classmates’ posts I learned that coyotes like fruit, crows are playful, and wolf packs don’t have an alpha male! This Twitter Tuesday has been very fun and I can’t wait to learn more from my classmates!
Awesome article! Even though I am not studying birds, it was interesting to look through the recommended profiles! Can you tell me more about foxes being hunted as a form of insurance?
Hi Andrea! I loved reading this post and learning about who you followed on twitter because I am also interested in birds. I made sure to follow all the bird accounts you mentioned! However, one question I did have about this post was what you meant by "bird photographers 'with a purpose' ". Is this saying that these accounts post bird photography along with some information? I wasn't too sure about that.
